Technical specifications
Specifications for dry CPAM models. Solid content is not a purity claim; model parameters and chemical identity are confirmed against the corresponding TDS and SDS.
CPAM · dry powder / crystal
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Appearance | White / off-white powder or crystal |
| Solid content | ≥90% |
| Molecular weight | 6–15 million |
| Hydrolysis / ionicity | Ionicity: 5–95% |
| Insoluble deposit | ≤0.3% |
| Dissolving time | ≤60 or ≤90 min, by model |
| Residual monomer | ≤0.05% |
Dissolving time depends on the specified test conditions. Request the model’s preparation guidance and technical data sheet.
Start with the sludge and equipment.
1. Provide the sludge source and properties, current treatment programme, dewatering equipment and target outcome.
2. Compare the proposed model’s ionicity and molecular weight. The 5–95% ionicity range describes different model options.
3. Review sample-trial results and polymer preparation with the technical team, then agree the model, dissolution test conditions and supply specification.
Sludge conditioning and dewatering
CPAM offers model options for sludge conditioning within municipal and industrial treatment programmes. Evaluate the proposed polymer against the actual sludge and equipment rather than selecting from ionicity alone. Include the current polymer and trial observations when requesting a model.
Packaging & storage
25 kg PE-lined kraft bags for dry PAM. Confirm the model, custom packing or labels, quantity, pallet preference and destination.
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep bags tightly closed and request the selected model’s preparation and handling instructions.
Sample availability, quantity and buyer-paid international courier charges are agreed before dispatch.
Model documents
Request documents for the selected model and test conditions. A representative COA supports evaluation; the supplied lot’s COA records its tested results.
