Dihydrate and anhydrous calcium chloride
Industrial calcium chloride in two product families: 74–77% dihydrate as flakes, powder and pellets, and 94–97% anhydrous as powder and pellets. Food-grade options are also available in both families.
| Product family | CaCl₂ content range | Available forms | CAS number |
|---|---|---|---|
| Calcium chloride dihydrate | 74–77% | Flakes / powder / pellets | 10035-04-8 |
| Anhydrous calcium chloride | 94–97% | Powder / pellets | 10043-52-4 |
These ranges describe the available product portfolio. The exact content guarantee and other limits are confirmed in the specification for the selected grade. Packaging photographs show particular orders, not a single standard pack for every product.

Packaging for your market
Standard net weights are 25 kg and 1,000 kg. PP bags, PE bags, pails, drums, customized packaging and private labels are available by agreement.

Send the family, form, content, packaging material, net weight, artwork, quantity, destination and pallet preference. Photographs show order-specific packaging.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, protected from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep packs tightly sealed when not in use.
Export experience you can see
The usual minimum bulk order is one container. Palletized and unpalletized arrangements are available. Actual loading quantity, freight and dispatch are confirmed by order.

Shipment photographs are historical examples. Checks cover product content, packaging, individual pack weight and cargo condition. Loading is photographed. Sample quantity and buyer-paid international courier charges are agreed before dispatch.
Calcium chloride applications
Snow & ice control
Calcium chloride for deicing roads, parking areas and other paved surfaces. Discuss the required form, CaCl₂ content, application conditions and bulk or private-label packaging.
Dust control
Industrial calcium chloride for dust suppression on unpaved roads, construction sites and mining areas. Include the surface, application method and site conditions when discussing the grade.
Drilling & completion fluids
Calcium chloride for oilfield brines, drilling and completion-fluid applications. Share the target solution concentration, fluid programme and impurity limits for product selection.
Drying & dehumidification
A hygroscopic material used in industrial drying and moisture-control applications. Share the process, contact materials and required particle size to discuss the suitable grade.
Refrigeration brines
Calcium chloride is used to prepare brines for refrigeration and ice-making systems. Specify the required solution concentration and operating conditions when discussing the solid product.
Food processing
Food-grade options can be discussed for vegetable firming and cheese-making applications. State the intended use and destination so the correct grade and supporting documents can be reviewed.
Documents for the selected grade
Request the corresponding TDS, SDS and a representative COA. For food-grade inquiries, specify the intended use and destination.

Common purchasing questions
Can you supply calcium chloride powder in both families?
Yes. Powder is available in both the dihydrate and anhydrous ranges. Specify the required family and CaCl₂ content so we can confirm the appropriate grade.
Do these technical limits apply to every available content?
The published tables cover 74% dihydrate and 94% anhydrous grades, with separate industrial and food-grade limits. Ask for the corresponding specification for 77%, 95%, 96% or 97% supply.
Can I order customized or private-label packaging?
Yes. PP bags, PE bags, pails and drums can be discussed, along with customized packaging and private labels. Send the required net weight, packaging design and order quantity so the packing arrangement can be confirmed.
Can you provide food-grade calcium chloride?
Yes. Food-grade options are available in both the dihydrate and anhydrous families. Confirm the exact grade, form, specification and documents for your intended application; the industrial packaging pictured is not a food-grade label.
How do I choose between 74% and 94% calcium chloride?
Compare the required CaCl₂ content, application, grade and physical form. 74% belongs to the dihydrate family and 94% to the anhydrous family. Use the separate technical tables and the selection guide linked on this page; a higher percentage alone does not determine which product is suitable.
